Ayşe Aylin Bayar

Associate Professor of Economics, Istanbul Technical University

Ayşe Aylin Bayar is Associate Professor of Economics at Istanbul Technical University. Her main areas of research are Labor Economics and Macroeconomics, in particular inequalities in the labor market, poverty and income distribution. Aylin holds MA in Economics and a MA in Management and a PhD degree in Management Engineering from ITU. She has had the opportunity to serve as researcher in EU Project ͞Increasing the Institutional Capacity of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies in the Field of Social Inclusion Policies (ICMoFSP)͟ and several Erasmus+ Programme projects. In addition to the skills developed in her research experiences at ITU, she also strengthened her research skills through two visiting scholarship positions at University of Laval, Canada and University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
