Amna Mahmood 

Policy Economist, International Growth Centre (IGC)

Amna Mahmood is a Policy Economist at the International Growth Centre (IGC) where she is working on issues of energy poverty and private investments in fragile and conflict settings. Previously, she was the Country Economist Pakistan for IGC working on environmental challenges and climate finance. She has worked on poverty alleviation, poverty graduation, and targeting and has provided research support on a capacity development program on public procurement. She had the opportunity to work at the UNHQ during the General Assembly session that saw the launch of the Sustainable Development Goals. She holds a MPA from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
