Ali Ersin Dinçer

Ali Ersin Dinçer received his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from the Department of Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University in 2010, 2013, and 2017, respectively. As a second undergraduate degree, he completed the Department of Business Administration at Anadolu University in 2011. He has been working as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering at Abdullah Gul University since 2019, and obtained the title of associate professor in 2021. Assoc. Prof. Dinçer has worked in various fields. His areas of expertise are primarily computational fluid dynamics, fluid-structure interaction, flood analysis, hydropower plant design and analysis, disaster resilience of different countries, sustainability, solar and wind energy. He can also develop software in different languages. Recently, he has been focusing on sustainability and energy fields. He has participated in different projects, particularly in the energy and flood areas. He won the first prize in two projects in the "Every Drop Matters" competition organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
