Ali Al-Bulushi

Director, Center for Community Service and Continuing Education at Sultan Qaboos University

Dr. Ali Al-Bulushi is currently the Director of the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education at Sultan Qaboos University as well as an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics, College of Education where he teaches several courses in the B.Ed. and M.Ed. programs. He widely published journal articles, a book, several book chapters and papers in conference proceedings. His research areas of interest include English language teacher professional development, language teacher education, task-based language teaching, computer-mediated communication, and reflective practice. He also played a significant role in the college’s international accreditation in which he was oversaw the college’s operation in the Field Experiences and Clinical Practice standard. He led a team to design, implement and evaluate field experiences in all academic program at the college.
