Ahmed Hefnaoui is a Professor of economics at Faculty of law, Economic and Social Sciences – Mohammedia City, (Hassan II University, Casablanca). His current research focus on macroeconomic theory, macroeconomics policies, econometrics, financial market theory and monetary theory. He started out as a professor of macroeconomics and monetary theory, and throughout his career, he produced numerous studies in a variety of fields, including higher education and economic growth, causes of higher education graduates' unemployment and the contribution of financial market to the economic growth. He directs research projects for Ph.D. students in the fields of macroeconomics, finance, and the effectiveness of mix policies… He received an Econometrics High Study Diploma (Magister) (1993) and a Ph.D. in economics (2006) from Hassan II University in Casablanca.
