Abdullah El-Kuwaiz is at present the first deputy of the Governing Board of Oxford Institute of Energy Studies, an independent entity of Oxford University. In addition, he is the Chairman of BIC (The investment subsidiary of BNP Paribas in Saudi Arabia). His research focuses on topics related to International Finance, Banking, Economic Integration and Energy Economics. He received his Ph.D in Economics from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He is an ERF senior associate.
