Do Remittances and International Migration Affect the Performance of Labour Market in Jordan? An Empirical Investigation

This project analyzes the potential effects of remittance flows on the labour market in Jordan. Using data from the Jordan Labor Market Panel Survey (JLMPS 2010), the paper identifies whether remittances lead to a considerable development of the Jordanian labour market. Moreover, it examines the impact of these flows on a variety of labour market indicators in Jordan, more specifically at macroeconomic level.
