Beyza is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics at LSE. Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of development, political and gender economics. Her work is currently focused on identifying the institutional practices and social norms that hinder progress in developing countries. She previously worked as a research specialist at the University of Chicago. Beyza holds an MSc in Economics from LMU Munich, and a BSc in Economics from Bogazici University.
