Shereen Al Abbadi

Development Economist

Shereen Al Abbadi is a Development Economist with over 20 years of experience in policy research, economic analysis, and development consulting across the Middle East and North Africa. Her work focuses on labor markets, jobs, poverty reduction, private sector development, and socio-economic policy design and evaluation. She has contributed to major national policy initiatives, including Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision, the Social Protection Strategy, and programs aimed at expanding economic opportunities for youth, women, and refugees. Shereen currently supports the World Bank’s analytical work on private sector diagnostic and growth and jobs in Jordan. She holds an M.Sc. in Poverty and Development.
