Nour Al Moghrabi

Gender Specialist, World Bank

Nour Moghrabi is a gender specialist at the World Bank. As the Mashreq Gender Facility lead, Nour has been supporting the advancement of economic opportunities for women in the Mashreq region since 2019. She contributed to several regional reports and knowledge products which highlight key barriers and policy recommendations for improving women’s economic and entrepreneurial activity. Working closely with governments and the private sector, Nour supports evidence-informed policy dialog and technical capacity building to address constraints to women’s economic participation and create a more enabling environment for women’s work. This includes tackling women’s limited access to childcare, flexible work, transport, entrepreneurship, finance and skills through legislative reforms and programmatic actions.
