Marie Nicolaus

Co-chair, German-Moroccan Energy Partnership, GIZ

Marie Nicolaus is Co-chair of the German-Moroccan Energy Partnership, where she works to foster a sustainable energy transition through strengthened collaboration between both governments. Prior to that, she served as a senior policy advisor to the Management Board of GIZ, the German development agency. With extensive experience across the region, she has worked with public sector, private sector, and civil society stakeholders in Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco. Marie holds a strong belief in the role of the private sector in driving a sustainable energy transition.
