Marwa Alameldeen is the Deputy Representative and Head of Programmes at UN Women Egypt Country Office. She brings close to 20 years of experience in sustainable development. Marwa has an extensive experience working within the UN Development System on forging strategic partnerships, planning and coordination. Prior to joining the UN, she managed various programmes in the areas of democracy, governance, and gender equality in the Middle East and North Africa region with several international development partners including USAID, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
