Daniel Gurara

Senior Economist, International Monetary Fund

Daniel Gurara is a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund. Before joining the IMF, Daniel was a principal research economist at the African Development Bank. He has also worked as a senior research economist at the bank and as an assistant professor at Addis Ababa University. He has authored and co-authored numerous academic articles and other publications. Daniel holds a PhD in development economics from University of Gothenburg.
