Serap Sağır is a PhD candidate at Middle East Technical University, Department of Economics. Her research interests are inequality, human development and taxation. She is currently working on a computable general equilibrium model in which she examines the effect of different policies on Early Childhood Development investment based on Turkish data by using MATLAB and Stata programs. Her mathematics and programming background together with the experience in National ECD Policy Project enable her a holistic approach to investigate the mechanism of early human capital accumulation.
