Lina Elbadawi

World Food Programme

Dr. Lina Elbadawi is currently based in Khartoum, Sudan at the World Food Programme where she provides technical assistance to advance national priorities to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Prior to the World Food Programme, she served in a mission critical role for the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as deputy Team Lead on the infection control and prevention team for Healthcare Systems Worker Safety Task Force. Dr. Elbadawi is board certified in Internal Medicine, and has over 10 years career in medicine and public health.
