Nawaf Alabduljader is an assistant professor at Kuwait University, Management and Marketing Department. Nawaf received his PhD from the George Washington University (GWU), School of Business, Department of Management. His research interests focus on entrepreneurship, small and medium enterprises. new venture teams, human resource management, organizational behavior and leadership in teams. Nawaf’s work has been published in Academy of Management Annals, rated the number one journal in management in terms of impact factor by the Journal Citation Report; Organizational Research Methods; the Academy of Management Learning and Education; Journal of Small Business Management; Journal of Knowledge Management, among others. Nawaf’s paper submitted to the Academy of Management, was recently awarded on of the top four Best Papers by the Academy of Management Education and Development Division. In addition, Nawaf has also published chapters in several entrepreneurship textbooks, including Annals of Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy, A research Agenda for Entrepreneurship Education, International Enterprise Education: Perspectives on Theory and Practice. Nawaf has presented in over 16 academic conferences including Academy of Management, United States Associated for Small Businesses, International Council for Small Businesses and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. At GWU, Nawaf taught an undergraduate course on Entrepreneurship and received one of the highest ratings from student evaluations (4.8/5) in the GWU Business School. Nawaf also publishes periodically in Al Anbaa newspaper. Nawaf also participates as a host for the Entrepreneurship Speaker Series at Kuwait University. Nawaf has provided training programs for different Kuwaiti institutions related to strategy, setting goals and KPIS, as well as human resource management. He was also the secretary for Sigma Nu Tau at GW, an entrepreneurship honor society.
