Ms. Christine Arab joined UN Women Egypt as the Country Representative in May 2020 bringing to this position her over 20 years of experience and expertise in gender equality and women’s human rights, primarily as UN Women personnel and most recently, as an independent consultant providing technical expertise to UN Agencies, UN Country Teams and the Government of Canada. Arab has twice served as Country Representative for UN Women – in the Caribbean Multi-Country Office and the Albania Country Office
