Dr. Elwasila Saeed Elamin Mohamed is Associate Professor Economics and serviced as Dean Faculty of Economic & Social Studies, University of Khartoum over the period December 2016 to July 2019. He has been teaching and researching in areas of environmental and resources economics for more than 20 years. He also teaches and conducts research in health economics and environmental health. He has dozens of published research papers in peer reviewed international and national journals, and two forthcoming books on environmental economics and economics of sustainability. He has traveled widely across the world in connection with his academic and research assignments, and received many prestigious awards and scholarships from world class university including scholarship to study for the degree of M. Phil in Environmental Policy at the University of Cambridge, UK (2003-2004).
