Assistant Professor of Development Economics at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies
Dr. Ayhab Saad is an Assistant Professor of Development Economics at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. He received his Ph.D in Political Science and Economics from Michigan University in 2014. Prior to joining DI, Ayhab was a visiting assistant professor of economics at Birzeit University for the academic year 2014/2015. He is also a research associate at Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS). His recent projects include the interplay between trade liberalization and domestic institutions, the effects of economic openness on innovation and firms’ productivity, the analysis of intra-firm trade and multinational production, and economic integration in the MENA region.
