Abstract This paper sets out to investigate some aspects of the differential impact of the process of globalization on labor outcomes in countries of the MENA region. It examines the impact of the process of globalization on the nature of labor processes and the new employment profiles, explores the likely impact of the new globalization forces on the employment patterns and labor market dislocations in countries of the MENA region, and discusses the possibilities of out-contracting labor in the MENA region as part of the new international division of labor under the impulse of the process of globalization. The analysis then addresses policy challenges facing policy-makers in the MENA countries. Arabic Abstract:
