Wajih Khallouli

Associate Professor of Economics at Umm Al-Qura University

Wajih Khallouli is actually an Associate Professor of Economics at Umm Al-Qura University.He was an Assistant Professor of Economics  and Quantitative Methods at the University of Tunis between 2017 and 2018 and Assistant Professor of Economics and Quantitative Methods at the same University from September 2008 to June 2016. He is a Fellow at the “Research group on applied quantitative analysis (UAQUAP)” in Tunisia since September 2005. His PhD in Economics was in 2007 from the University of Lumière Lyon II where his doctoral dissertation was “Contagion of the International Financial Crises: Empirical Essays of the Identification in the case of Asian crisis". He has been an expert in economic advisory. Between 1999 and 2001, he participated in missions of economic studies, strategic analysis and financial relations with "Tunisian Post Office”. In 2009 and 2010, he participated in several projects on economic development and labor markets with the African Development Bank on Economic growth and MENA Youth Policy Research Center.
