Thomas is a PhD student in Economics at Stanford University, focusing on forced migration in the Middle East and Africa. He has worked in Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq, studying the impacts of camps on refugees, and is starting a project on whether aid can facilitate social cohesion in Uganda. Prior to graduate school, he worked for Innovations for Poverty Action in Kenya.
