Mohamed Kouni holds a PhD from the University of Tunis El Manar , Tunisia. His Research interests revolve around development field particularly migration.  He currently works as an assistant professor of economics at the University of Gafsa, Tunisia. He has previously worked as a consultant for several international organizations including UNDP, Islamic Relief and World Bank.
