Ali Rashed

Dr. Ali Rashed is currently a lead statistician at Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) HQ in Jeddah. He played the role of Statistics Manager at Economic Research Forum (ERF) until Sept. 2019, and Lecturer at Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport and AUC. He received his PhD in Statistics from Cairo University 2017, School of Economics and Political Science, MSc. and BSc. in Statistics from the same school. Dr. Rashed’s recent research focuses on labor market analysis, job quality and social protection, work and socio-economic status of family. His studies examine the informal economy and community development, especially that related to micro and small household enterprises
