Project Research Manager, Applied Economics and Development Research Group, the American University of Beirut (AUB)

Alexandra Irani is a socio-economic researcher whose work is focused on the measurement of human well-being and inequality among youth, refugees and other marginalized populations to inform evidence-based decision making in public policy. She is currently a project research manager at the Applied Economics and Development Research Group at the American University of Beirut (AUB) where she manages national household surveys and impact evaluations on multidimensional poverty analysis and poverty reduction programmes targeting Palestinian refugees, Syrian refugees and Lebanese households residing in Lebanon. She holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics and Development (2015) and a Bachelor in Economics (2009) from AUB.
