Mouna Ben Othman

Teacher-Researcher, Higher School of Economics and Business in Tunis

Having obtained her Ph.D in economics from the Sophia Antipolis faculty in Nice, she is a teacher-researcher at the Higher School of Economics and Business in Tunis. In the framework of her research, she has worked on the reform of pensions and their consequences on macroeconomic variables but also on the labour market. Her field of research has broadened to include all social policies that are particularly transformative and gender-oriented. She is active in civil society. She was a member of the association "Governance and Social Accountability Tunisia" (Goact) which works to promote citizenship and democratic values as well as to promote and guarantee the right of access to information, She is currently a member of the executive board of the Tunisian Organisation for Social Cohesion (OTCS), which aims to prevent violence and ensure social cohesion, particularly in disadvantaged areas.
