Yasmine Abdelfattah is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Prince Edward Island Cairo campus hosted by Universities of Canada. With a PhD in Statistics and Environmetrics, Yasmine has expertise in quantitative methods and their applications in Climate Sciences, Natural Resources and Environmental Economics, Energy, and Development. She has a practical experience as an actuarial analyst and has taught Statistics, Mathematics and Econometrics at the British University in Egypt. Yasmine is a member of multiple international academic organizations and frequently reviews for academic journals. She has published several peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in her field.
