Full Professor of Economics, University of Orléans

Christophe Rault is a Full Professor of Economics at the University of Orléans (CNRS, LEO FRE 2014), France. He received his Master and his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne. He has also been a Research Network Fellow of the Center for Economic Studies (CESifo), Munich since 2007, and a Research Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), Bonn since 2003. Broadly speaking, he works in the field of theoretical and applied econometrics with a focus on time series and panel data. The key feature of his research is an emphasis on both theoretical and empirical aspects. Specifically, his theoretical interests include statistical modelling of stationary and non-stationary economic time series, and panel data. Moreover, his applied research focuses on various economic topics such as Energy and Environmental Economics, Labour Economics and International Macroeconomics, and Transition Economics. He has authored and co-authored over 70 theoretical, empirical and policy papers published in refereed journals.
